Retrieving a Vehicle Equipment Report

The Vehicle Equipment Report (VER) describes the vehicle equipment options when the VIN has been decoded successfully. The OEM View tab view displays all equipment, OEM code, packages, and MSRP amounts, that were available at the time the vehicle was manufactured.

The Submission View tab view in the report displays vehicle equipment data identifying each equipment option using a code as described in the Legend on the report.

This report is compiled from multiple sources. It is not always possible for CCC to obtain complete information on all vehicles. Therefore, there may be other information that applies to the vehicle that is not reflected in this report. You should review the information and supplement it as necessary when submitting a valuation request to CCC.

A Legend provides the following indicators for each equipment option:

• √ (checkmark) - Equipment is currently selected in the valuation request
• std - Manufacturer indicates the equipment is standard
• avail - Manufacturer indicates the equipment is available
• inst - Manufacturer indicates the equipment is installed
• (yellow highlight) - Manufacturer indicates the equipment is standard or installed, but the equipment is not currently selected in the valuation request.

Note: The inst, (installed), indicator is only available for companies that have the necessary contract with CCC. Only select manufacturers provide installed information.

To retrieve a Vehicle Equipment report

1. Open the workfile.
2. Select the Vehicle tab, and then select the Descriptiontab.
3. Select Vehicle Equipment Report from the toolbar.
